4. Gwanghwamun Square
 
 Gwanghwamun Square is the easiest place to come up with 'Seoul'. As such, Gwanghwamun Square has a big meaning in Seoul and is a place many people remember.  Gwanghwamun Square starts from Sajikro in front of Gwanghwamun, and extends to Sejongdaero by two sides. It ends at the intersection of Sejongdaero where Moonanro and Jongno meet. The construction started in May 2008 and the Sejongdaero blocked some lanes and entered the construction and was opened to the public on August 1, 2009. It is one of the most important venues of Seoul, with Seoul Station Square, Seoul Square and Cheonggye Square.
