Parents' Day(Mother's Day) in Korea

Yesterday was Parents' Day. It means to look back on your parents' suffering at least once. It was designated as May 8 in the Republic of Korea. As in the United States, Mother's Day (the second Sunday of May), there is a Parents' Day in Korea. Carnation is the icon of Parents ' Day.

So it is carnation or carnation-like accessory that often appears as a gift. It is classical. But funny, It was stay at the bottom of the list of gifts many parents want to receive. Of course, carnation gifts are not worthless. Just giving a symbolic flower for the anniversary can give a feeling of a little cliche or a mandatory feeling in the present generation.
As I said before, there are many parents who love cash than carnation. So of course, It can not help but conclude that it is more reasonable for workers to pay cash than carnations. But, this is what adults give to middle-aged parents, and it does not mean that the student should give cash to his mom and dad.
Students can offer carnations, go out to eat with their parents, or do housework instead. If you usually do not do chores well, let's do housework on Parents' Day. If you try to do housework, it may seem difficult. But in the food bowl you eat, in your messy room, on the porch, in the garbage bag you may find the key. Parents are sensitive to their children, so they quickly become aware when they replace housework they did not have. If you usually do the housework, and you are still doing your own, then you yourself will be a present.
When you eat out, you can share your story with your parents. It is best to go to eat menu as well as eat what parents like. Does your father like to meet? Does your mother like ice water? If your parent's favorite food does not come up well, then blame yourself for being indifferent to your parents, and ask to parents 'What are you going to eat?' Let's ask once.
I was away from home, so it was hard to do anything for parents. So I finished my school class and called my mom and dad. I told him that I was doing well and that I was going to visit my parents soon. If you can not do anything like this, let's call. Parents may be waiting for your call.
