Green Car : How to use Car sharing in Korea





 Do you know car sharing services? Maybe you should have heard it once. In general, car sharing means starting from the recognition that it is wasteful for purchasing a car. So a local or group to own a car to use a simple purpose vehicle, and then sharing it on a time scale basis.
 However, in Korea, it started as a new car rental business by companies, and it is developed mainly in metropolitan and central cities. It is characterized by the fact that there is almost no car sharing zone in rural areas. So it was not easy to see car sharing cars in the area where I grew up. However, because I came to Seoul, I have a lot of chance to meet car sharing zones, and usually I can rent a car and use it.
 Let's take a quick look at how to use it! In Korea, 'Socar' and 'Green Car' are typical services, but today I will explain 'Green Car' as an example.



 First, sign up for membership in the Green car homepage or application. How to get a driver's license in Korea. After you register your driver's license and credit card at the time of sign-up, it is good to borrow the car immediately when you need it.



 Next, determine the time in the application wants to borrow the car. When you set the time, it tells you in real time what car is standing in the nearest Green car Zone. You can choose a variety of vehicles from light cars to SUV. You can pick the time and the car you need and complete your reservation. For your reference, there is an option to change the location where you return your car.

 When you make a reservation, the payment will be made automatically. Payment is made 15 minutes before the time you rent the car. The payment is made with the credit card you have already registered. Now you can go to the designated Green Car Zone and drive.


 How do you get in the car? There is a car key in your smartphone. The Green car application has a smart key function, so you do not need a car key. Just go to the car you want and press the smartphone button to open the door and lock it. Is not it really convenient?
 I often rent a car at the Green car. It can be borrowed only as long as necessary, and is convenient and inexpensive. I also use a Green car more than 'Socar' often. There are more cars in the Green car! I also recommend you to use Green car!

Namsan Tower : Sightseeing places in Seoul

 Namsan Tower is one of the famous landmarks of Seoul with the Han River.
