KTX : How to book a KTX ticket online




 There are trains that are useful when traveling around Korea. It is 'Korea Train eXpress : KTX'. KTX is the name of high speed railway operated by KORAIL from April 1, 2004 and it is the highest class train operated by KORAIL. It has already been 10 years.



 Perhaps it is fortunate that the high-speed railway is running in Korea, which is not very wide. Thanks to the high-speed rail, I can go to KTX in 2 hours and 30 minutes by bus, which takes 5 hours. The price is a bit expensive, but there is such convenience.

 In fact, the speed of KTX is very fast. The maximum speed is 305 km / h, but most of the cases are traveling at 270 ~ 295 km / h on the high speed line. When the overall KTX operation is good, it runs at 300 ~ 305km / h. When driving more than 250km / h, the temporary speed of the moment is displayed at the upper left corner of the room monitor.  In the above menu, there is a train ticket - online booking menu. Click the menu to enter.
 

 Then select the origin, destination, and boarding personnel. Here is an example of a train from Seoul to Busan.



 On the next screen, you will see a screen where you can select your time zone. You have to choose whether to choose a First class or economy class, but I recommend economy class. The First class is a bit more expensive. If you can afford it, it's a good idea to choose a First class.
 


 Then, choose your first name, last name, country, and so on. There is no difficulty at all!
 

 Go to the station at the date and time of your reservation, take a look at the signboard and find you booked the train. I hope it will be a pleasant trip!
