Hoesik : Dinning together with club members after work
There is a process that can not be missed when you go to university and joined a club. It is a dinner with the members of the club, which is often called 'Hoesik'. It has the advantage of being able to get acquainted with people in clubs if you go to a Hoesik. However, if you frequent a Hoesik, you can spend your all money.
There is something that can not be left out of the Hoesik, it is alcohol. It often eats beer or soju, and sometimes drinks makgeolli. Depending on your taste, soju is the most common drink you can eat at a Hoesik. Soju has about 15 ~ 20% alcohol and bitter taste. Some people like this bitter taste, but there are a lot of people who do not like it. If soju is hard to eat, let's eat beer. In the past, eating beer instead of soju at a Hoesik was treated as a fool. But society has become a society that does not force such changes. This is a desirable change.
Students who have just entered the university often do not know how much they can drink. So, when the semester starts and you have a Hoesik, there are many incidents. Some students get drunk and lose their cell phones. Someone may have vomiting or crying. So if you do not how much you can drink, let's drink a little. You may not want to go to school for shame for a while.
When you are having Hoesik, you may not have fun because it is still awkward. So, in Korea, students do not usually drink alcohol, play a alcohol game. Once you have played a few games, you may be familiar with other people. Drinking games are good tools for making friends.
Usually, the amount used per person is about 10,000~20,000 Won(10 ~ 20 dollars). The menu varies from fried chicken to pork, but the most popular is pork. After that all together, there are still people who are hungry. They remain without leaving and move to another restaurant. This movement is called the second stage ("2 Cha"). Likewise, there are people who are reluctant to leave even after the second stage, and they go to the third stage ("3 Cha"). I've been to a few steps like that. What is the best in my record? It is the fourth stage ("4 Cha")...!
