Myeongdong : Sightseeing places in Seoul

Seoul has many attractions. Typically, there are Gyeongbokgung, Myeongdong, and Namsan towers. This time, I want to deal with the sights of Seoul. Historical places like Gyeongbokgung are classified separately, and here I try to focus on good places to visit.

1. Myeong-dong

Myeong-dong is located in Jung-gu, Seoul. If you want to know the most famous places in Seoul, Myeong-dong is a typical sightseeing place. Myeong-dong is now Korea's cultural and financial center, has a variety of attractions, and has many banks. There are many things to eat, too. If you plan to visit Myeong-dong, I recommend you to prepare cash. Because it sells a variety of foods on the streets.
Myeong-dong was also designated as a special tourist destination for foreign tourists. So, if you stand on Myeong-dong Street, you might get confused. Chinese and Japanese are spontaneously written on the doorsteps of shops located on the streets, and those who promote are promoted in Chinese and Japanese! Occasionally, some Korean tourists are caught by passengers who pass through Myeong-dong Street and promote in Japanese language. Nowadays, many tourists come from Southeast Asia and the Middle East.
It is true that Myeong-dong is always crowded, but especially Christmas Eve is the place where the most people gather. Korean newspapers and media have also relayed many of these scenes to the news. So if you plan to visit Myeong-dong on Christmas Eve, I do not want to recommend it. It is because of being crowded to crowd.
For reference, Myeong - dong has the largest cathedral in Korea, Myeongdong Cathedral. It is a historic site dating back over 110 years since it was built in 1898 and is designated as Historic Site No. 258. Since Catholic University conducted the entrance ceremony at the Myeongdong Cathedral, students visited the Myeongdong Cathedral. Then, after the entrance ceremony was over, I had go Myeong-dong street with my friends.
To go to Myeong-dong, you can get off at Myeong-dong Station on Seoul Subway Line 4 or you can get off at Ulji-ro 3-ga Station on the Seoul Subway Line No. 2 line. If you want to go to Myeong-dong starting from Seoul Station, you can go to Seoul Subway Line 4 and cross two stations. If you want to go to Myeong-dong from Gimpo Airport, take the airport railway and get off at Seoul Station. There is a way to go to Myeong-dong by connecting to Line 4. It will take about 40 minutes.
